When?

Capability Brown logo NEWThe Capability Brown tercentenary in 2016 will celebrate the landscape designer’s birth 300 years previously.

This site draws together the impetus nationally for events, talks and explorations (both physical and intellectual) of landscape and place.

It is the intention that work on assembling documentary sources will start in December 2015 ready for an unveiling of a clay work by the summer of 2016.

March 6th – NT Uppark – outreach event, all day – working on the clay head in a landscape visited and planned by Brown but with much later design by Repton and others.
